LATAM announces a new direct route between Munich and Sao Paulo

LATAM Airlines Group has launched the sale of tickets for the new Europe to Latin America route, joining Munich with Sao Paulo, commencing flights on June 26, 2019.

The new route will operate four times a week on a Boeing 767-300 aircraft, with a capacity of 191 in Economy class and 30 in Premium Business.

 

Rodrigo Contreras Brain, director general for the airline in Europa, said: “We are the leading company connecting Europe with Latin America, with flights to 120 destinations as well as having the best network for onwards travel in South America, no other airline offers our extensive connections nor such a great variety of flights and schedules.”

 

The four weekly flights will operate on MondayWednesdayFriday and Sunday on flight number LA8213, departing Munich at 8.15 pm local time and arriving in Sao Paulo at 4.35 am local time the following morning, with a total flight time of 13 hours and 20 minutes.

 

From Sao Paulo, the flights return on MondayTuesdayThursday and Saturday on LA8212, departing at 11.25 pm local time from Guarulthos Airport and arriving at Franz Josef Strauss in Munich at 5.15 pm the following afternoon, making a total journey time of 12 hours and 50 minutes.
