Kennedy Space Center to reopen on May 28

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is set to open this week for the first time after the coronavirus- inflicted lockdown, with a set of new measures and procedures in place

The Space Center will implement compulsory face coverings for all guests and employees, allowing only regulated and limited attendance, and temperature screening of each and every person who enters the area. If a visitor displays temperature above 100.4F, they will not be allowed inside the campus, along with anyone in their group.

People will find new signage and floor markers, as well as separate entry and exit points, to enable contactless movement of people within the campus.

In addition to the cleaning and sanitisation of the exposed surfaces, there will be hand sanitiser stations at various locations for immediate use, and a distance of six feet between the dinning tables at Orbit Cafe.

Pre-shows and theatre shows have been stalled for the time being to prevent the accumulation of crowds. All bookings will be made in advance and all transactions will be cashless.

The number of attractions has been narrowed down and a detailed list posted online: https://kennedyspacecenter.com/explore-attractions
