Jet2 unveils Christmas markets programme for winter 2020

Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have announced their programme of Christmas market flights and trips on sale for 2020.

With European Christmas markets continuing to enjoy immense popularity, the company has introduced a mini-series of flights and city breaks to a festive assortment of winter wonderlands from November until before Christmas including a new destination - Strasbourg.

The Strasbourg Christmas market is the oldest in France, and from November, the whole town transforms into a winter wonderland with its charming streets and squares.

The leisure airline and operator has introduced a series of two-night trips for 2020 programme, suitable for a quick Christmas getaway.

Jet2 will operate more than 100 services to eight Christmas market destinations – Berlin (Brandenburg Airport), Budapest, Cologne, Krakow, Nuremberg, Copenhagen, Strasbourg and Vienna – between November and Christmas, from seven UK bases.

Besides, the company will operate scheduled flights and city breaks to several Christmas market destinations during the winter and in the build-up to Christmas. With multiple weekly flights on sale to destinations such as Amsterdam, Budapest, Barcelona, Prague and Krakow, customers have choice and flexibility over how long they spend visiting Christmas markets in Europe.

A sample itinerary of Glasgow includes two-night trips to new destinations of Budapest (December 4-6) and Vienna (December 11-13). Two weekly services are operating during the winter to Prague, Krakow and Barcelona.

Highlighting the popularity of the scheduled flights and city breaks to Europe’s most magical Christmas markets, Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said that the programme is set to provide more flexibility for the customers in 2020.

Package options with Jet2CityBreaks are available for £60 per person deposit and include flights, 22kg hold luggage, as well as transfers to and from the airport. Besides, customers can pick from a choice of two- to five-star hotels in central locations.
