Isle of Man shares ?extraordinary story?

Visit Isle of Man has launched a new three-year tourism campaign encouraging people to experience the full breadth of the Island?s offering.

At the heart of the ?Isle of Man ? The Extraordinary Story? campaign is a 90-second film narrated by well-known Isle of Man resident, John Rhys Davies, whose film and TV work is familiar to millions, in particular the Lord of The Rings trilogy.

Angela Byrne, head of the tourism organisation, said: ?The Isle of Man offers a high-quality holiday and short break destination for a broad range of visitors and being situated at the heart of the British Isles is only a short flight away from UK and Irish airports, plus there are several departure points for those wishing to travel by ferry.

"Our visitors can cram in so much within a short time of arrival and can be visiting one of our fantastic castles or heritage attractions, and then within half an hour can be out enjoying some sea kayaking or taking in one of our wonderful scenic walks; by which time they will want to indulge in some of the best food and drink produce that can be found in Britain.?
