Hong Kong Tourism Board launches Travel Trade Manual

The Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) has launched a new electronic Travel Trade Manual, designed as a comprehensive tool for the travel industry to expand its knowledge about Hong Kong and to utilise when planning client holidays to the city.

Covering 152 pages, the manual presents easy-to-digest information about Hong Kong?s calendar of events, as well as the city?s diverse product offerings, history and culture segmented into ten categories.

Dawn Page, the tourism board?s director of the UK and Northern Europe, said: ?We have put together the Travel Trade Manual specifically for travel agents, and the wider travel industry, to use it as a planning tool and quick reference guide. While this provides a fantastic overview of Hong Kong, I still encourage agents to reach out to our office for further information, as well as to participate in any training programmes we offer.?

The addition of the Travel Trade Manual complements the rereleased My Hong Kong Guide app which was designed to enhance travellers? in-destination experience with the functionality of five traveller apps in one.
