Hilton Garden Inn Budapest City Centre Hungary

Hilton Garden Inn debuts in Hungary

Hilton Garden Inn opens its first hotel in Hungary ? Hilton Garden Inn Budapest City Centre.

The new hotel in the capital boasts 214 rooms and is located close to the Opera House and St Stephen?s Basilica. Holidaymakers looking to explore the city can choose to stay at this property.

Simon Vincent, executive president and president, EMEA, Hilton, said: ?With its abundance of thermal spas and scenic beauty, it is no surprise that a record 1.7million people visited Budapest in the first half of 2018 alone.

?As we celebrate Hilton?s centennial year, we?re proud to open the doors to Hilton Garden Inn Budapest, the largest midscale hotel in the city centre.?

Guests can start their day with a cooked-to-order breakfast in the Garden 79 Restaurant & Bar. They can unwind in the hotel?s bar, which offers locally sourced Hungarian dishes, including the Chef?s signature Wels Paprikas. Handcrafted cocktails and locally crafted beer are also available. The hotel offers complimentary Wi-Fi, a 24-hour business centre, a fitness centre and The Shop ? a 24-hour, grab-and-go retail space, offering fresh foods and a self-serve coffee bar.

John Greenleaf, global head of the hotel group, said: ?The opening of Hilton Garden Inn Budapest City Centre signifies the latest new market debut for the brand in a year driven by swift global expansion.

?Our midscale yet affordable accommodations located in the heart of this historic city will be a welcomed option for the rise of visitors to one of Europe?s top travel destinations.?

The Budapest City Centre property has three meetings and events spaces, with the largest room holding up to 100 guests or delegates. All spaces provide natural daylight, onsite catering and a breakout garden area for pre-event functions. The hotel also offers outdoor spaces, including a rooftop terrace.
