Hebridean Island Cruises launches partnership with CLIA

Hebridean Island Cruises has announced that it has become an associate member of Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA).

Hebridean operates luxury cruise ship Hebridean Princess, which carries 50 guests around the British Isles, Norway & France; and Royal Crown, a 1930’s style river ship which sails on the Dutch and Belgian Waterways, the Danube and the Rhine, Main and Moselle rivers.

Through the partnership, the line is launching its online training module to more than 4,000 CLIA travel agents. It will offer various incentives to encourage agents to complete the online module.

Ken Charleson, managing director,  of the cruise line, said: “Hebridean Island Cruises is always looking for ways to increase the number of travel agents who are aware of our luxury brand. Our online training module is a fantastic way for us to be able to work closer with agents so they can have a greater understanding of our brand and offerings. We look forward to developing our partnership with CLIA and its travel agent members over the next year and beyond.”

Andy Harmer, CLIA UK & Ireland director, added: “We are delighted to have Hebridean Island Cruises join us as an associate member of CLIA. This partnership will enable Hebridean to have access to CLIA training event and will open the door to opportunities to network with our agent members.”

The cruise line also launched a new Facebook page for travel agents: Hebridean Island Cruises – For The Travel Trade
