On The Go Tours has launched group tour departures for its  World Wonders Tour. Previously a private itinerary, the 31-day group tour has three departure dates with the first tour departing on October 3.

The action-packed tour covers five continents and eight cities, visiting the new Seven Wonders of the World and the last remaining of the ancient wonders, the Pyramids of Giza. As with all of the company's Signature tours, passengers will have guided sightseeing with English-speaking local guides, each offering unrivalled knowledge of the destinations.

Kicking off the month-long adventure is Rome and a trip to the ancient Colosseum before flying to Cairo to marvel at the Pyramids of Giza. The archaeological wonders continue with a quick flight to Jordan to walk through the siq to arrive at the Rose City of Petra. The next country on the agenda is India, visiting the Taj Mahal, and after guided touring of Old and New Delhi, the group will jet off to Beijing to walk along the Great Wall of China.

Travellers then leave behind Asia for Latin America, landing in Mexico to spend a day exploring the Mayan ruins of Chichen Itza. The group then head south to Peru to take the scenic train journey to arrive at Machu Picchu, and the tour concludes in Rio de Janeiro.
Carl Cross, the operator's managing director, said: “We had a huge amount of interest in the World Wonders Tour when it was launched as a private itinerary. A lot of this was from solo travellers who couldn’t afford it as a private itinerary and wanted to enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime adventure with the joys of travelling with a group. With this new price point and three departure dates over eight months, we’re hoping to send many people on this incredible journey.”

Prices for the tour lead in at £6,295 per person based on two sharing for 27 nights excluding international flights.
