Global Travel Group unveils duo of new member benefits ahead of PEAKS period

Global Travel Group is ramping up the ?personalisation? of its marketing campaigns with a series of PEAKS period promotions with top suppliers, plus new deals with two technology providers.

This year?s ?Out of Office? marketing campaign ? which will run throughout January and February 2020 ? will feature a range of digital and print resources designed specifically to be overbranded by individual members and presented to clients as exclusive deals.

Featured suppliers will change on a weekly basis, giving retailers the opportunity to target their databases regularly, as well as offering potential customers holiday options best suited to their particular budget or preference.

Participating supplier partners include Wendy Wu, Titan Travel, Cruise and Maritime Voyages, Fred Olsen Cruise Lines, Classic Collection Holidays, Cosmos, Saga, Oceania Cruises and Newmarket Holidays to name a few.

Among the free resources available to members will be B2C e-shots, social media downloads, video and digital brochures, window cards, A5 brochures, posters and roller banners. ?Create your own? social media templates will also be available for agents wanting to create their own online promotions.

The campaign aims to capitalise on solid performance in cruise (up 19% year-on-year across the TGTG membership) and with tour operators selling pre-designed packages (up 26%). The return of Sharm El Sheikh and Tunisia to the market is also expected to deliver positive results.

Meanwhile, the company is finalising deals with tech providers Net Effects and Travefy, for roll-out in January. Net Effects provides software that allows agents to create bespoke marketing campaigns and supplies ?latecards? offering deals for promotion on social media. Travefy allows agents to produce professional-looking bespoke quotes for clients.

Andy Stark, managing director for Global Travel Group, said: ?There is always a huge amount of buzz in the travel industry over PEAKS so it is vital that Global members can stand out. Good independent retailers have the benefit of well-developed databases and loyal customers, so being able to reach out in a personalised way is a real advantage.

?The Out of Office campaign has a stylish and contemporary look, and includes suppliers offering a diverse range of products. We?re sure it will be a real hit.?

The PEAKS campaign packs available to members also includes a series of window materials with generic messaging targeted at consumers supporting the  ?book with your local independent Travel Agent? and  ?book with confidence? messaging. The packs include ATOL logo window stickers and Global Customer Protection guarantee logo?s to reinforce the confidence consumers can have with booking with their local Global Travel Group agent.
