The Gambia Experience is currently and exclusively taking bookings for holidays departing from January 1, 2019 for the African Princess Beach Hotel, due to open in The Gambia at the end of this year.
The new four-star resort is located in South Kotu alongside a long stretch of uncrowded sandy beach and, unlike any other hotel in The Gambia, African Princess offers several swim-up guest rooms, with terraces over the water.
To provide added tranquillity, only children over the age of 12 can stay at the hotel and there will be a large central swimming pool, further enhanced by a series of smaller free-form pools dotted throughout the grounds. The resort will feature two bars and two restaurants on-site for convenience and guest rooms, all with a side sea view, will be decorated to a high modern standard.
Seven-night packages start from ?983 per person including flights, 20kg luggage, in-flight meals, transfers and breakfast. Half-board is also available for a supplement.
The operator has also introduced a ?Taste of African Birdlife? tour. The new two- or three-day adventures are directed toward amateurs but open to all and offers an introduction to the destination?s birdlife. Available on selected departure dates and combinable with a resort hotel of choice, minibus transportation along with an English-speaking specialist bird guide is included, plus all lunches.
The maximum group size is 15 persons and tour supplement is from ?145 per person.
