Flexible Autos takes protective measures after cyber-attack

Flexible Autos was forced to take immediate action following a malicious cyber-attack on Sunday, July 7.

Upon noting that its technology was comprised, the car rental company took the necessary steps to shut down its systems in order to protect agents and suppliers.

In a statement issued by the brand, it reports: “These actions were taken to secure our systems and it has been necessary to carry out a comprehensive and thorough investigation which is currently ongoing. We hope to be operational shortly and we apologise for all the inconvenience this has caused; however, our primary concern is our responsibility to our agents and suppliers. We thank you for your continued support and loyalty.”

The company is further reassuring agents that all car hire reservations are unaffected and that clients will be able to collect their vehicles with no issues.

Should agents have any concerns or queries they can call 0800 254 5101.
