Exodus offers discount for under 16’s on family adventures

Exodus Travels has launched its new family product for 2019 and is now offering children’s prices right up to the age of 16, which are 25% less than the adult price.

Further, the holiday operator created a specific age range recommendation for each trip to help families decide which adventure would be the perfect fit. Each new itinerary has been designed with one of three specific age ranges in mind: 5-8, 9-12 and 13-16.

Most trips are also suitable for children in one other of those ranges. In these cases, trips display a ‘designed for’ age as well as an ‘also for’ category. Children in either range can join, but those in the secondary category may find the going a little easier or tougher, accordingly.

The family holidays are specifically designed to offer a mix of education and exploration, with plenty of downtime and suitable activities for the whole family.

Tom Wilkinson, family product manager at Exodus, said: “Our family trips are curated with budding young travellers in mind. At Exodus we want to inspire children to discover the world, visit new places, see exciting new wildlife and and experience different cultures. We take care of the details, so you can enjoy some quality time with the family, that will fuel stories, traditions and memories to last a lifetime.”

As part of its recent Family Brochure launch, the tour operator announced 12 new trips. Family adventures support local communities through various projects, helping local businesses and creating jobs in line with responsible tourism.

The following are the four new family adventure trips.

Cape Family Adventure – The nine days trip takes you through the Cape region of South Africa, priced from £2,199 per adult and £1,649 per child (including flights). Designed for families with kids aged 9-12 years, but also suitable for 13-16 years.
