Derek Banks, the company?s managing director, said: ?European Waterways continues to expand and enrich its diverse experiential offerings that include private tours and meals with some of the cruise regions? most memorable personalities and in distinctive settings.

?Champagne has a special place in cultures worldwide and our guests are always fascinated to learn about its history and the unique process that originated in this charming region of Central France.?

Panache cruises through the heart of Champagne from mid-June to mid-July, between Ch?teau-Thierry and Ch?lons-en-Champagne, weeks before the start of France?s famous grape harvest. The vessel?s six-night, all-inclusive cruises offer an immersion into the history of the sparkling wine and the famous houses that include Mo?t & Chandon, Henriot and Pannier.

Six-night cruise fares, based on double occupancy, include: local, private, chauffeured transfers; air-conditioned accommodation; all gourmet meals; wines ? indigenous to the cruise region; an open bar; daily excursions and admittance fees; as well as the use of barge facilities such as bicycles and hot tub.
