European Waterways launches 2020/21 Hotel Barge Cruising brochure

European Waterways has launched 2020/21 Hotel Barge Cruising brochure, featuring a wider selection of themed cruises, new e-bike options and a 'When to Cruise' guide.

The cruise line is offering 10% off early bookings.

The brochure features hotel barge cruise holidays on its fleet of 17 hotel barges on the inland waterways of nine countries – France, Italy, England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Belgium, Holland and Luxembourg.

With 103 pages, the fully-illustrated brochure displays the wide range of hotel barges in the exclusive collection, together with their respective six-night itineraries.

A new feature in the brochure is the imaginative “When to Cruise” guide, which highlights the best that each cruising month has to offer – from the bloom of Spring in April and May, to the excitement of the Wine Harvest in August and September.

For the forthcoming season, the cruise company has added e-bike rentals as an option on most itineraries in France for 2020. Guests can now explore the countryside towns and villages with ease. E-bikes must be pre-ordered and are subject to a small supplement.

A wider selection of departure dates on themed cruises are on offer and can be booked on a per cabin basis: whether wine appreciation, golf, or whisky trail themes,

If booked by January 6, 2020, guests will enjoy 10% off cabins, or charters on a selection of 2020 cruise departures.

Derek Banks, managing director of the company, says: “At the same time as cruising the diverse waterways of Europe, through beautiful countryside, at a calm, relaxing pace, our barge holiday itineraries also feature a wide range of daily, escorted shore excursions. These range from visits to renowned wineries, champagne houses, oyster farms and chocolatiers, to enjoying exclusive chateaux tours, led by the aristocratic owners themselves.

“Add to that our welcoming crew, the highest standards of onboard comfort, quality cuisine and fine wine served on board, our guests are experiencing a truly immersive and educational journey.”

The 2020 prices for a six-night cruise, based on double occupancy, lead in at £3,290 per person aboard L’Art de Vivre, cruising in Burgundy; or £24,500 for a whole boat charter of eight people. Fares include all gourmet meals, fine wines, open bar, daily escorted excursions and local transfers.

The brochure can be ordered at: www.europeanwaterways.com/brochure-request/ or an online version is available to view at www.europeanwaterways.com/view-online-brochure/
