Discover Gal?pagos Islands onboard Sunvil's new cruise vessel

Sunvil has introduced a new luxury Gal?pagos cruise vessel, MV Theory, to its Latin America programme.

MV Theory will mimic the design of its sister ship, MV Origin, featuring 10 deluxe ensuite rooms with panoramic views, sundeck with Jacuzzi and loungers, indoor lounge and bar, small gym, library and more, all topped off with stylish furnishings and useful extras such as air-conditioning and Apple TV.

Departing from San Crist?bal, guests have the choice between two comprehensive seven-night itineraries: The Southern/Central route or the Western/Northern route, with the option to combine both for the ultimate two-week tour of the islands. Each itinerary highlights the best of the Gal?pagos, from its striking landscapes to its rich and varied wildlife, birdlife and marine creatures.

On the Southern and Central route, guests can spot countless species of birds while hiking Punta Pitt ? one of the best sites for birdwatching. Take in spectacular Gardner Bay - a white-sand beach dotted with colonies of sea lions - spot exotic fish, sharks, turtles and rays at the Devil?s Crown rocks, just off Floreana Island, and explore the beautiful geological formations at Puerto Ayora, including the lava tunnels.

The Western and Northern route offers an equally exciting take on the archipelago. Guests can see the famous swallow-tailed and lava gulls on Darwin Bay as well as flamingos in the lagoons of Las Bachas. Navigating their way through caves and spotting penguins diving through water at Vicente Roca, and spying octopus, starfish and other marine life in the tidepools of Puerto Egas are other highlights.

With its inaugural launch on March 3, a seven-night cruise on board - including full-board accommodation, twice daily guided shore excursions, transfers and return flights from mainland Ecuador - costs from ?6,054 per person (two sharing). International flights are extra.
