Cox & Kings launches its 2020 Middle East collection

Cox & Kings has unveiled its Middle East programme for 2020.

It also added an exotic combination tour of Oman & Zanzibar as well as new tours to Egypt, Jordan, Israel and Morocco.

The 2020 collection to the Middle East, North Africa, Central Asia and the Gulf continues to grow as interest in the region surges. Passenger numbers travelling to the Middle East so far this year have increased by 50% compared to the same time last year. The tour operator's escorted tours have increased by 51% and tailor-made numbers by 48%.

Owen Walker, Middle East product manager for the company, said: "We are thrilled to see that customers? confidence in the region is strengthening. We?re particularly delighted with how well Central Asia and the Silk Road countries are doing as people look to travel to less traditional destinations. We are looking to build on that this year with the addition of the beautiful mountainous country of Kyrgyzstan."

The new group tour, Colours of Kyrgyzstan, is priced from ?1,995 per person and spends 10 days discovering the varied landscapes of the country, including an overnight stay in a traditional yurt to learn about the semi-nomadic lifestyle. There are also two new private journeys: Central Asia Explorer, a 12-night trip which visits Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan (from ?3,245 per person), and Silk Road Adventure, a 22-day journey through Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan (from ?5,195 per person).

'Oman & Zanzibar' is a new exotic combination tour in which guests travel to Stone Town in Zanzibar to retrace the legacy of Omani rule and its spice trade history, before continuing to Oman to explore Muscat, fishing villages along the coast, the desert dunes of Sharqiya Sands, and Nizwa on the edge of the Hajar mountains. The eight-day tour starts from ?3,795 per person. Peak to Beach is another new eight-day itinerary from ?2,545 per person, with guests exploring both Oman?s mountainous and rugged interior, as well as its pristine beaches.

All prices include international flights, transfers, excursions and accommodation with breakfast daily unless specified otherwise.
