Corsican Places offers savings on Bastille Day holidays

Corsican Places is offering holiday savings to coincide with Bastille Day celebrations in Calvi on July 14. 

The seaside town on Corsica's northwest coast will host a firework display shot from its medieval citadel which can be enjoyed from either the beach or marina. The town will see street parties and parades along its cobbled streets.

For couples, Le Home apartments provide an adults-only escape, set within spacious gardens with two shared pools. It is a short walk from the beach and town. A seven-night self-catering holiday starts from £629 per person, for arrivals on July 12 – a saving of £89 per person based on two sharing a studio apartment. This price includes return Stansted – Calvi flights, 23kg luggage allowance and airport transfers. 

For families, Villa U Ciocciu is suitable to explore the coastline with scenic views. It is a half-hour drive from Calvi. This three-bedroom villa has a private pool and sleeps up to seven. Surrounded by extensive scented gardens filled with citrus plants, oak and olive trees, it has a summer kitchen where guests can enjoy outside dining. The operator is offering a seven-night self-catering holiday from £790 per person for arrivals on July 12 – a saving of £102 per person based on full occupancy. This price includes return Stansted – Calvi flights, 23kg luggage allowance and car hire.
