Club Med opens two new resorts this ski season

With less than two months to go until the ski season starts, Club Med is due to welcome two new resorts to its exclusive collection of alpine resorts this winter, including both short-haul and long-haul ski destinations.

Grand Massif Samo?ns Morillon in France opens in December, and the new 4T flagship family ski resort, Samo?ns Morillon is situated in the heart of the Alps, offering 360 ? views. This ski-in / ski-out resort offers direct access to the slopes from the ski equipment room and guests will benefit from a Grand Massif lift pass (France?s fourth largest domain) that covers the two ski areas, Massif and Flaine, with a total of five stations; Samoens, Morillon, Les Carroz, Flaine and Sixt Fer ? Cheval). With more than 250kms of slopes, the domain offers something for everyone. Massif offers slopes better for beginners, while the Flaine slopes are more suitable to intermediate and expert skiers.

The resort includes more than 400 rooms, kids? clubs from four months to 17 years, a dedicated ski room and snow garden for children, an indoor and outdoor heated pool, gym and restaurant featuring a menu created by famed Michelin star chef, Edouard Loubet.

Meanwhile, Tomamu, Hokkaido in Japan also opens this December - and is the company's second Japanese resort, in Tomamu, Hokkaido. Located in the Hidaka mountains, guests can explore 29 extensive ski slopes with a total length of 21.5km.

The ski-in / ski-out resort offers a range of additional activities alongside skiing. These include snow trekking, snow rafting and sledging, along with an indoor heated wave pool and outdoor hot spring baths.
