Celebrity chef Luke Nguyen to host three APT river cruises in 2019

APT has announced that its brand ambassador, celebrity chef and TV personality Luke Nguyen, will host three gourmet-themed river cruise holidays in 2019, one each in Vietnam, Myanmar and France.

Angela Waite, head of sales and commercial for the operator, said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer an extended range of special Luke Nguyen departures through our industry partners here in the UK. By showcasing a destination through Luke’s eyes, and with APT having taken care of all the finer details, we are able to offer clients a truly immersive and authentic experience that they simply can’t access elsewhere. These tours are really special and we are confident they will prove a great option for industry partners to offer.”

Travel agents can now offer a new date for 2019 for the operator’s 16-day ‘Luke Nguyen Vietnam and Mekong River Cruise’ aboard AmaLotus. This is the eighth consecutive year the celebrity chef has collaborated with the brand in Vietnam, during which time he has shaped a range of exclusive culinary experiences for guests to enjoy. This journey is priced from £5,995 per person, twin share and departs November 28, 2019 from Ho Chi Minh City, sailing the Mekong River to Siem Reap.

Other new river cruises include the 18-day ‘Luke Nguyen’s Hidden Wonders of Myanmar’ priced from £6,795 per person sailing on October 1, 2019 and 11-day ‘Grand Bordeaux with Luke Nguyen’ from £5,395 per person and departing Paris on August 26, 2019.
