Butlin?s resorts at Skegness, Minehead and Bognor Regis to reopen from July 24

Butlin?s resorts at Skegness, Minehead and Bognor Regis, are scheduled to reopen from July 24, following government?s updated directives on outdoor entertainment and the use of pools in public places.

Between July 24 and August 7, the entertainment options will include a live performance by the R&B group Rak-Su and the dance troupe Twist & Pulse, which will be streamed across the three resorts on different dates. In addition, there will be an open air performance of the Big Top Circus on every summer holiday break and late summer family weekends.

Guests from all the three resorts can watch an exclusive show by Diversity, on July 27, which will be available on all mid-week summer holiday breaks.

Adapted pantomime shows of The Little Mermaid and Paddington will be screened at their cinema-style theatres. Those visiting this season, can look forward to live performances of tribute shows, such as Very Grande as Ariana Grande, Ultimate Coldplay as Coldplay and Beautiful World as Take That.

Since the resorts will be limiting the number of guests, those planning to visit need to pre-book their activities. Those who had booked a break between July 24 and August 7, will receive a confirmation email, while those who booked for after August 7 should wait for further information.

Accommodation and dining arrangements have been modified to reduce contact. Guests will find their room keys and passes of activities sealed in an envelope and their rooms would be cleaned, disinfected and sealed before their arrival. Housekeeping personnel will be barred from visiting their rooms during the stay and extra towels or sheets can be requested on Guest Service app.

Among the restaurants that will be open, include the Beachcomber, Soho Coffee Co and Scoop Ice Cream, along with take outs such as Fish & Chips, Burger King at all resorts as well as Ludo?s Italian at Minehead and Skegness and Papa John?s at Bognor Regis. While the self-serve buffet will be unavailable for now, the live cooking stations, grill and microwaves will be accessible to the public with disinfecting wipes for pre-use cleaning. Screens will be placed to keep the food fresh and safe, and guests will be served the food on a plate or in boxes.

Due to health and safety restrictions, the following rides will not be open: The Dogems, Helter Skelter, Simulator, Super Slides. However, the other rides which are open to public, include, Carousel, Rockin? Tug, Trampoline, Waltzers, Paratroopers and Chair-o-plane, across all three resorts, besides Waveswinger, Trabant and bungee trampoline at Bognor Regis, Swing Boats at Minehead and Mexican Hat at Skegness.
