AmaWaterways unveils 2020 brochure

AmaWaterways has launched its 2020 brochure, featuring new ship AmaSiena, the addition of unique itineraries and new land extensions, including an itinerary curated for AmaMagna.

The river cruise line has announced early booking savings of up to ?1,000 per person, with combinable complimentary flights and overseas transfers for European cruises, coinciding with the brochure launch.

Stuart Perl, managing director of the cruise line, said: "2020 looks set to be another exciting year for AmaWaterways with the arrival of AmaSiena, an expanded programme for AmaMagna and new pre- and post-cruise land programmes.

"With our trade focussed sales strategy, we want to do everything we can to make it easy for our travel agent partners to sell our cruises. They told us that they would prefer us to change our brochure from landscape to portrait, to allow easier racking and greater in-store visibility, so that is what we have done for the 2020 programme.

"In another initiative which places our travel agent partners front and centre in our decision-making, the 2020 brochure will now be easier to order via TradeGate".

All European cruises are offered with savings of between ?400 and ?1,000 per person, plus free flights from a choice of six UK departure airports and overseas transfers. The level of saving varies from month to month with the maximum ?1,000 available for departures in March, April, November and December 2020.

Meanwhile, guests booking a Mekong cruise will enjoy savings of ?400 or ?800 per person, depending on the time of year.

The promotion is available for bookings made between September 1 and December 31.

AmaMagna, launched earlier this summer, has an extended programme for 2020. The ship will sail three new itineraries and cruise along the Lower Danube for the first time.

The new 'Magna on the Danube' seven-night cruise from Vilshofen to Budapest (or reverse) includes the new port of Spitz in Austria where guests will enjoy an exclusive wine festival, more daytime cruising and an included excursion at Schonbrunn Palace and Gardens in Vienna.

The seven-night 'Gems of Southeast Europe' cruise from Budapest to Giurgiu (or reverse) offered by AmaCerto, will also be offered by AmaMagna.

Those wishing to spend longer can now book the 'Grand Danube', a 14-night itinerary combining 'Magna on the Danube' and 'Gems of Southeast Europe'.

The new 156-passenger AmaSiena will arrive in July 2020. It will feature the brand's signature twin-balcony staterooms, a choice of dining venues including the Chef's Table Restaurant, a sun deck walking track, a pool with swim-up bar and a fitness room. Guests will also be able to join group exercise classes ? including morning stretches, core strengthening and resistance band workouts ? led by a professionally trained onboard Wellness Host. It will sail a variety of itineraries, including two new seven-night cruises.

'Treasures of the Main & Rhine' will cruise from Nuremberg to Amsterdam while 'Vineyards of the Rhine & Moselle' will carry guests from Amsterdam to Luxembourg. AmaDante will offer both the itineraries as well.
