Acacia Africa launches '2 for 1' offer

Acacia Africa is offering a '2 for 1' promotion as it turns 25 in 2020.

The promotion covers 50 camping overland tours and scheduled departures from now through to the end of December 2020.

Peak season game viewing in the Kruger is priced from £298 per person. Bookings should be made by October 31.

Arno Delport, sales & marketing manager for the tour operator, said: “For our 25th birthday we wanted to celebrate what this life-changing continent has to offer, and give more people the opportunity to experience its breathtaking landscapes, its rich tapestry of cultures, and of course, its amazing wildlife. One of the most affordable ways to see Africa, our camping overland collection covers 12 countries, the itineraries lasting from four to 62 days, our promotion including huge savings of up to £4,535 (£2,267 per person), and our safaris priced from only £203 per person.”

The new four-day Garden Route Express includes visits to the coastal paradise of Tsitsikamma, the Klein Karoo's Cango Caves (its dripstone caverns opening into vast halls of stalagmite formations), Hermanus, the 'Whale Watching Capital of the World,” and a local winery near Cape Town included on the itinerary.

It is priced from £183 per person plus Adventure Pass from £20 per person, and starts from Port Elizabeth and ends in Cape Town. There are two monthly departures. Full tour price before discount is £365 per person.

14-day Mozambique & Zimbabwe Explorer is a 14-day tour and is priced from £918 per person plus Adventure Pass from £160 per person. It starts at Victoria Falls and ends in Pretoria. The tour takes a maximum of 12 guests with twice monthly departures (March through November). Full tour price before discount £1,835 is per person.

Some of the tours included in this promotion are: 13-day Kenya & Tanzania Adventure, six-day Troop To The Gorillas, and four-day Kruger Safari.

All prices include highlights, transport, camping accommodation, most meals and services of a tour leader/driver. It excludes return flight; discount excludes Adventure Pass and Gorilla & Chimp Permit.

Bookings should be made by October 31 and guests should be 18-39 years.
