Abercrombie & Kent launches new brochures for 2020/21

Abercrombie & Kent (A&K) has launched three brochures for its Tailor-Made, Escorted Tours and the new Luxury Expedition Cruising for 2020/21.

Each brochure is designed based on how guests like to travel. The new Luxury Expedition Cruising is developed as a standalone brochure for Antarctica as bookings to Antarctica were up 71% in 2018, YoY. The brochure also includes cruising in Europe, Asia, and Australia.

Luxury Expedition Cruises allows guests to enjoy some of the best locations on the globe from the comfort of a mega-yacht. They can enjoy personalised assistance from the on-board staff including a naturalist guide, a historian and an A&K photography coach and receive complimentary expedition packs.

Guests will embark on a bespoke itinerary of excursions, many available exclusively on chartered A&K cruises. They will be able to cruise glacial havens, meet remote local communities and see some of the rarest wildlife on the planet on a polar voyage.

Ultimate Iceland & Greenland Cruise from August 13-27, 2020, will explore vast landscapes, such as Westman archipelago, Lindenow Fjord and Prince Christian Sound, while cruising for 12 nights on exclusively chartered ?Le Boreal?. Guests will discover Viking history while tracing the steps of Erik the Red, visit ancient archaeological sites that include the ruins at Hvalsey and the explorer?s homestead at Brattahlid. They can visit and learn about life in remote Greenlandic communities, such as Qaqortoq and Narsaq and tour the city of Nuuk, abundant in historic and cultural treasures.

The 15-day tour is priced from ?13,555 with early booking discount, while the actual price starts from ?14,755.

Tailor-Made holidays are available across all the continents. The itineraries are merely suggestions, designed to inspire the guests to travel.

The brochure features more than 30 destinations. Also added is a combination of South East Asia destinations, tapping into the growing demand for multi-centre exploration in this region.

As many as 18 new experiences have been added for the brochures from a balloon ride over Kulala in Namibia, a private wine tasting and cave tour in New Zealand, to a sadaka side car experience in Morocco and much more.

Coming to 'Escorted Tours', there are two types on offer: in-depth 'Immersive Journeys' and fast paced 'Luxury Small Group Journeys'. Both include: the innovative Design your Day concept, guaranteed departures, and resident tour directors.

Travellers can explore destinations in five-star luxury with like-minded groups, limited to 18 members. In addition, Immersive Journeys offer no single supplement for early bookers.

'Rhythms of South-East Asia' is 11 nights Immersive Journey priced from ?3,795 per person. Guests will

explore the rich tapestry of life from Vietnam and Cambodia to Laos and experience the buzz of city life, sail over emerald waters punctuated with limestone karsts, and see the sun rising over Angkor Wat.

'Wellness Bhutan: Mystical Himalaya' is a 10 days Luxury Small Group Journey priced from ?5,500 per person. Guests will be able to experience the deeply spiritual culture of Bhutan alongside locals for whom happiness is a national priority. They will join an exclusive 'tshechu' Bhutanese religious festival, with its colourful, masked dancers and traditional storytelling and also learn how traditional Tibetan medicine is used by healers to restore a patient?s harmony and balance during a visit to the Institute of Traditional Medicine.
