2018 looking positive for Tunisia

This year is set to be a significant year for Tunisia, following the softening of FCO Travel Advice last summer and the subsequent announcements from major UK tour operators such as Thomas Cook and TUI that they are returning to the country.

Initial signs are positive, with UK tourists already starting to return to Tunisia, and the tourist office has been busy making sure everything is in place. Wahida Jaiet has been newly appointed as director for the UK & Ireland. She previously served in the role from 2011-14, overseeing a strong period of growth for the country?s tourism.

The office has also appointed Fox Kalomaski Crossing to execute its advertising campaign and selected Wave Media Partners to reinforce the PR and promotional activities in the market.

Jaiet said: ?I am delighted to be returning to the UK at such a significant time. We are fully aware of the challenge ahead but we are ready for it. We shall work closely with our trade and media partners and look forward for a steady and sound return of Brits to Tunisia. ?
